Lara Jeranko Marconi
The collection gives an impression of a personal archive of dreams, hopes, secrets and regrets.
The exhibition “Black Birds and Snow” focuses on the importance of objects and figures in everyday life, their symbolism, sentimental value and ability to evoke memories and keep them alive. The collection gives an impression of a personal archive of dreams, hopes, secrets and regrets. Like any archive, its purpose is to ensure that artwork is accessible and open to dialogue, which consists of plentiful and endless symbols in their deepest and the most cryptic sense. There is no definite meaning, any external word becomes inadequate, and messages become the property of each individual.
