One of the most prominent Slovenian sculptors and this year's Prešeren Award for Lifetime Achievement winner, her work is marked by the use of various materials including wood, concrete, bronze and ceramics. In recent years, Čadež has focused her research on ceramics in combination with wood and clay. The series on display, entitled Screens, presents a large-scale ceramic composition consisting of several sets, which, with the addition of different materials, techniques and content, blends with the gallery space to form a complete spatial installation.
