The artist’s artworks can be summarised with one word – integration. The lines and surfaces of her works are integrated into a new art world, one that is distinct of the artist’s life. Integration and never overlapping should be the essence of this world and beyond, where art enhances the meaning of life. This is exactly what the artworks of Lučka Šparovec are and what they depict.
Lučka Šparovec was born on 20 July 1984 in Kranj. She attended the Secondary School for Design and Photography in Ljubljana, specialising in graphic design. From 2005 to 2010, she studied Painting at the College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana and graduated with honours with Prof Darko Slavec and Dr Tanja Mastnak. She is currently pursuing her master's studies with Prof Zmago Lenárdič at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Ljubljana. In 2012, Šparovec acquired the status of a self-employed professional in culture. Since 2009, she has presented a number of exhibitions both in Slovenia and abroad.
