The three-day music festival O•zvočenje 20 brings together composers and musicians creating modern, electronic, electroacoustic, acoustic and experimental music at the Bežigrad Galleries ever since 1977. It features artists who rarely get the chance to present their work to the broader public and media in Slovenia.

Jaka Ropret - electric bass
Boštjan Perovšek – electronica
AUDIO KAYAK
The idea of the project is to look at musical improvisation as a trip of two rowers playing their instruments in a more or less a traditional way, with their signals also being converted into electronic sounds that double as sound blocks. All three rowers of sound face the visualization of the path of the two rowers on the sound trip. Together with the picture they paddle their way in the waters of the soundscape.
The project and the video material were created on the island of Silba, Croatia. The recording was made at the concert of the Audio Kayak band on August 12, 2019 as part of the event called "SEA Silba Environment Art".
Jaka Hawlina
Trumpet is his first and primary instrument, only later did larger brass instruments catch his attention. He started as a kid in the family band rocking dixieland, folk tunes and evergreens. The initial diversity of sound continued in various genres and bands. If he is lucky, he tries to catch the unexpected.
Jaka Ropret
A versatile bassist, double bassist and persephonist. He can express himself in many musical aesthetics and even goes beyond the limits of the genres. His way of playing free improvised music encompasses a wide range of sounds, taking advantage of the wide range of possibilities offered by the bass guitar, including the less common ones.
Boštjan Perovšek
As musician, composer and soundscape artist, Perovšek composes experimental, electroacoustic and bioacoustic music. He specialises in creating bioacoustic music based on the sounds of animals, especially insects. He creates music for film, theatre, performances and multimedia installations.
