You are cordially invited to the presentation of the exhibition catalogue, marking the conclusion of Zora Stančič’s exhibition Fortunately, Glances Leave No Imprints.
We warmly invite you to the presentation of the catalogue accompanying the retrospective exhibition Zora Stančič: Fortunately, Glances Leave No Imprints. The catalogue offers an in-depth insight into the artist’s rich graphic oeuvre, her key thematic cycles, and the conceptual and technical aspects of her work. The conversation will be led by curator Sarival Sosič, PhD and artist Zora Stančič, with additional contributions from the design team Studio Kruh + AA.
The artist, curator, and designers will shed light on the making of the publication, its content, and the significance of printmaking within the context of contemporary visual art. They will also discuss the importance of exhibition-related publishing, the relationship between design and the presentation of artworks in book form, and the monographic, documentary, and archival value of gallery publications. Alongside the curator, the catalogue includes texts by art historian Božidar Zrinski and Ajda Ana Kocutar, as well as poetry by the poet and author Anja Zag Golob.
