Paper Gallery: free creative workshop
Families and children 6+
This year's Summer Museum Night features a free creative workshop for children, families, and all curious creators.
We will find inspiration in the new educational leaflet CIK CAK, where fun characters will take us into the world of contemporary art and guide us in discovering what a gallery is as a space and everything that can be found within it. In this way, we will also learn what an art installation means. We will then put our ideas into practice: we will fold a small gallery out of paper, cut out little doors, draw and write on the walls, and add various elements to create our very own miniature exhibition.
The workshop, which will take place on the street in front of the City Art Gallery Ljubljana, will conclude with a formal opening of our miniature exhibitions.
Suitability: The program is suitable for children aged 6 and up and families.
Registration: Please register in advance via email at pedagoska.mestnagalerija@mgml.si.
Following Program: The workshop will be followed by a public guided tour of the exhibition at 7:00 PM, led by Svit Skobir Lampič.
