Wheel of Fortune!

3. 12. 2013–3. 1. 2014

On the International Day of People with Disability and the cultural event This Merry Day of Culture, 11 authors will guide you through the Wheel of Fortune exhibition. Their work and energy breaks fears and prejudices. All events and exhibitions are free of charge on this day. The museum will stay open to 9 p.m.

Visit the year's last events of the Wheel, 5200 Years exhibition, with which we want to bring our cultural heritage closer to our more vulnerable groups. The Wheel of Fortune exhibition was conceived in collaboration with non-governmental organisations during the qualification and active integration of the deaf and hearing-impaired population into museum workflows and the project of »Kulturna dediščina povezuje« (Cultural Heritage Connects), supported also by the European Social Fund.

Špela Spanžel, Director-General of Cultural Heritage Directorat at the Ministry of Culture and Mateja Demšič, Head of the Department of Culture at the City of Ljubljana are the honorary sponsors of the accompanying exhibition Wheel of Fortune and its events.

During the exhibition we will set up a charity collecting toys, books, school accessories, sweets, clothes, shoes, equipment and items for children of all ages from socially disadvantaged families.
