Plečnik Awards 2026: Artefacts

26. 5. 2026–27. 9. 2026

For the fourth consecutive year, Plečnik House is hosting an exhibition of the recipients of the Plečnik Awards, Slovenia’s central national honours for outstanding achievements in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and interior design. The awards are granted for realised projects within the Republic of Slovenia, as well as for works in Slovene communities abroad that contribute to the enrichment of spatial culture.

The Plečnik Award is conferred on a realised work that best fulfils the mission of the awards in one of the following categories: large-scale architectural realisation, small-scale architectural realisation, and public space. In addition, Plečnik Medals are awarded to outstanding projects in the categories of large-scale architectural realisation, small-scale architectural realisation, public space, professional publications, and contributions to spatial culture. In the category in which the Plečnik Award is granted, the Plečnik Medal is not awarded.

Each year, the Architect Jože Plečnik Fund also recognises exceptional student work with a student award in the form of a scholarship, intended to support graduates in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning or related fields at the beginning of their professional careers.
