LUV FEST: History of Love in Vila Zlatica
How did people love in the past, when emotions were often constrained by social expectations, reputation, and the strict rules of bourgeois society? We invite you to a themed guided tour of Villa Zlatica, where, through stories from the past marked by love and longing, we will explore the customs and relationships of the early 20th century.
Just as rulers and states have changed throughout history, so too have the social rules and customs that determined how we were allowed—and not allowed—to love. Join us for a very special guided tour at Villa Zlatica, where we will explore the background of the complex social rules that once strictly dictated the behavior of Ljubljana's gentry, through the memorial collection of Ivan Hribar's legacy and the city's refined urban society.
As part of the LUV Fest, visitors can also look forward to a small, sweet surprise. In the cozy atmosphere of Villa Zlatica, we will enjoy tea and sweet biscuits.
Address: Vila Zlatica, Cesta 27. aprila 47, 1000 Ljubljana
The guided tour costs €8 for adults and €6 for students, pensioners, and secondary school pupils. Payment is made in cash upon arrival for the tour.
Reservations are required and can be made at vila.zlatica@fsk.si or by phone at 040 835 775.
