Laž (Lie)

The comprehensive catalogue accompanying the overview exhibition Tanja Lažetić: Laž (Lie) thoroughly documents the artist's multi-decade oeuvre from 1997 to the present in image and text. Featuring rich visual documentation of the exhibition layout alongside an expert text by curator Barbara Sterle Vurnik, this publication—designed by Studio Kruh + AA—offers profound insight into the artist's exploration of truth, memory, and identity.

Accompanying the overview exhibition by Tanja Lažetić entitled Laž (Lie) at the City Art Gallery Ljubljana, a comprehensive exhibition catalogue has been published, thoroughly documenting the artist's multi-decade oeuvre created between 1997 and the present. Designed by Studio Kruh + AA, the publication offers an in-depth insight into the artist's conceptual foundations, her exploration of the relativity of truth and memory, her movement between diverse media—from photography, video, and ceramics to artist's books and painting—as well as her latest creative objects and interrogations of female identity. Thus, the publication serves not merely as documentation of the exhibition, but as a valuable and lasting study tool for understanding Tanja Lažetić's complex creative process.
