Ulay: I Other
More than merely the principal document of the "I Other" exhibition, this publication is also conceived as an afterword to it and the unique tale of it, recounting the idea for it and its concept, and previously untold stories. The main part of the book is comprised of texts that are crucial for Ulay due to their specific theoretical outlook on photography and performance as media, not only in terms of interpreting and contextualising his work, but also in that they help us understand his way of thinking about photography and his increasingly performative use of it in his work until the final culmination in performance.
