Rabih Mroué: Something of Something
This is not an exhibition catalogue. Neither is it a monograph of an artist. And it is not an artist’s book either. It is a book. A book, whose dramaturgy has a specific dynamic as defined by its collaborators. This is not a specific book, it is a book containing the reproductions of the selected works by artist Rabih Mroué.
This is not just a book of visual reproductions, it is a set of texts and reproductions, which can be read as a unique visual dictionary of texts. They can be individual pieces or notes to the text, to the word, to the essence of Mroué’s art. This is not a book of texts. This is a book. Printed sheets of paper bound into a whole.
