CANEMORTO's performance at the launch of the film and catalog about The Radiant Van
CANEMORTO returns to Ljubljana on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, to present, in their signature style, a catalog and film created during The Radiant Van project. At 8.30 p.m., the members of the anonymous art trio invite you to the French Revolution Square, where, following a short formal introduction, they will activate the world’s most powerful good-luck device. Join us and bring a votive offering so that you can receive their precious amulet in return.
We will gather at the square, where the curator Antonio Grulli (Luci d’Artista), will briefly present the final outputs of the project The Radiant Van: the eponymous catalog, published by bruno, and a short film directed by Marco Proserpio with music by Matteo Pansana. The screening will begin, and the trilingual publication will also be on sale*.
Next, the venue will be taken over by the anonymous trio of Italian artists, active since 2007. They are known for wearing masks, speaking an unknown language, and worshipping a canine deity named Txakurra. It is this deity that grants them the power to paint as one. The trio spread the message of this mysterious cult through ‘sixhanded’ projects across diverse media.
Some of you have already met them at the opening of the exhibition The Painting Race at the Match Gallery, and according to the latest announcements, upon their return to Ljubljana, this time you will witness the activation of the world’s most powerful good-luck device. Don’t forget to bring a votive offering to the event!
*Useful tip: There are some good possibilities that CANEMORTO would sign your catalog copy during the evening ...

The event featuring CANEMORTO at the French Revolution Square in Ljubljana marks the final stop on The Radiant Van's tour along the Turin-Venice-Ljubljana route, before the four-wheeled work of art concludes its journey in Turin, where, starting with the 29th edition of Luci d’Artista (2026–2027) onward, it will become part of the city’s permanent art collection, which has been managed by the Torino Musei Foundation since this year.
The Radiant Van project is supported by the Italian Council program (2025) promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture. It is a collaboration with the producers Citta di Torino, Fondazione Torino Musei and Luci d'Artista curated by Antonio Grulli with partners Match Gallery (MGML), Lighting Guerrilla (Strip Core / Forum Ljubljana) and Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE).
