The Highest National Awards for Achievements in Architecture, Urbanism, and Spatial Design

Plečnik Awards 2025: Exhibition of the Winners

19. 5. 2025–8. 6. 2025

For the third consecutive year, Plečnik House will host an exhibition showcasing the laureates of the Plečnik Awards, the most prestigious national recognition for outstanding works in architecture, urbanism, landscape architecture, and interior design. These awards honor completed projects within the Republic of Slovenia and projects in Slovenian minority regions abroad that contribute to the enrichment of spatial culture.

The Plečnik Award is given to the completed work that best embodies the mission of the awards. In addition, Plečnik Medals recognize exceptional projects in the following categories: large-scale architectural realisation, small-scale architectural realisation, public space, professional publications, and enrichment of spatial culture.

Each year, the The Architect Jože Plečnik Foundation also awards a student recognition in the form of a scholarship, which serves as an encouragement for master’s graduates in architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, or related fields at the beginning of their professional careers.

The jury for this year’s Plečnik Awards 2025, includes Assoc. Prof. Saša Begović, architect (international jury member), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ilka Čerpes, architect, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nika Grabar, architect, Jerneja Fischer Knap, architect, and Urška Kranjc, landscape architect.
