Events: Cultural Centre Tobačna 001 - 2017

You are cordially invited to join us on a guided tour of "It’s Her Own Fault ".The guided tour of the exhibition will be followed by a conversation with Milijana Babić, an artist from Rijeka who focuses in her woks on results from various researches connected with the more vulnerable social groups - such as the elderly, the unemployed and women. The conversation will be moderated by the curator of the exhibition, Alenka Gregorič.  

Adela Jušić's project titled "Real but not true", which presents works in various media, is centered on a relatively short time period from the start of World War II to the mid-1950s'. Drastic changes occurred during this period regarding women's rights.

Conceptually bold, Vogrinčič’s works and interventions are often installations that take a long time to realize, but are then limited in time, even short-lived, surviving only in photographs. You are cordially invited to a conversation with the artist on. The event at the CC Tobačna 001 will be moderated by the exhibition's curator Alenka Gregorič.

The renowned Iranian artist Nazgol Ansarinia, currently a guest of the Švicarija Creative Centre/MGLC residency programme,  has devoted herself to the rapid changes in the urban centre of Tehran in her latest works. Simultaneously, the CC Tobačna 001 /MGML is hosting the renowned Serbian artist Vladimir Nikolić, who uses his works to explore various social phenomena, and questions the role of the artist in today's system.

You are cordially invited to a guided tour of the "Fluid particles of volcanic ash" exhibition with curator Alenka Trebušak. The CC Tobačna 001 is displaying the second part of the project, which takes the viewer to the post-apocalyptic environment, in which techno modules pulsate only on the level of electro-chemical processes and waves.
