Lecture by Simon Norfolk
Acclaimed landscape photographer Simon Norfolk will give a free lecture for the general public at the Jakopič Gallery on 7 April at 7 p.m.
After twenty years working in places like Afghanistan and Iraq for the New York Times and National Geographic, photographer Simon Norfolk has turned now to trying to show the effects of the climate crisis. In this lecture he’ll show the inspirations for his work (which are often deep within the history of art); the role of beauty in photography and why he makes his pictures look the way they do.
