Pino Poggi: Book – Sculpture
The Jakopič Gallery, one of the venues of the "Blind Date Convention", the 1st International Festival of Artist’s Books and Artist Publications, presents Italian artist Pino Poggi. The Gallery also hosts the "Ljubljana Artist's Book Fair 2010".
Pino Poggi is a visual artist exploring various areas of contemporary visual creativity. His series of works, performances and installations from 1970's onwards is known for his social commitment. Artist's books hold a special place in his oeuvre, as he often considers them sculptural entities.
The Ljubljana Artist's Book Fair 2010 presents the major independent publishers from the region, guests from northern Europe and the USA, artists-publishers, contemporary art institutions as publishers, independent publications, etc.
