CC Tobačna 001 presented its programme for 2017
At the press conference of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, the CC Tobačna 001 presented its programme for 2017. The residential centre is currently hosting the Rijeka-based artist Milijana Babič, who will also present a solo show in January. Later in the year, the artist-in-residency programme will also host artists Adela Jušić from Sarajevo and Vladimir Nikolić from Serbia. The centre will also host Mike Hentz, as part of our collaboration with the non-government organisation Cirkulacija 2.
The Centre will also continue its residential collaborations with the Israeli Centre for Digital Art Holon in Israel and the London-based Tottenham Halle International Studios: two artists from those locations will live and work at our centre, while two Slovenian artists are to travel to the two aforementioned centres. The artists will be selected through a public call. Two solo exhibitions of local artists Matej Andraž Vogrinčič and Marko Batistawill continue our series of presentations of Slovenian artists at the CC Tobačna 001.
