The 1st edition of Klavdij Sluban's "Nekje drugje Tukaj / Elsewhere Here" photomonograph, that accompany the actual exhibition in our gallery, was sold out at the end of May. That's why we've produced a 2nd, revised and expanded international edition in four languages - Slovenian, English, French and German. The book, featuring around 150 Sluban's photographs, is introduced by an expert text by Dr Marija Skočir, the curator of the exhibition and editor of the publication.
Dr Marija Skočir, Art Gallery Director and Curator of the Jakopič Gallery, will be among the 165 international experts in the field of photography taking part in this year's Photo Folio Review at the renowned French photography festival Les Rencontres d'Arles.
The largest ever mid-career retrospective exhibition of Klavdij Sluban's "Nekje drugje Tukaj / Elsewhere Here" at the Jakopič Gallery is accompanied by an extensive photomontograph, printed at LUart Ribnica. The publication presents a selection of photographs that highlight more than three decades of Sluban's work. The first regular edition is sold out and we are preparing a new one, on sale from 1 July. Nevertheless the photomonograph is still available in a limited collector's edition with a signed analogue photograph by Klavdij Sluban.
