Join the "Friends of the Jakopič Gallery", a community of regular visitors to our gallery. Each year we treat them to numerous benefits and exclusive events.
In 2018, our Friends will be guaranteed:
- Free admission to all exhibitions and events with interesting and inspiring guests.
- Free admission to guided exhibition tours in English, every Saturday at 4.30 p.m. (In Slovene, every Sunday at 4.30.).
- 15 % discount on all events within the adult education programme.
- 15% discount on all titles published by the Jakopič Gallery, 30% discountwhen buying two or more publications by the Jakopič Gallery.
- Participation in a prize draw (to be won: one of the publications by the Jakopič Gallery).
- Invitation to the tastes of the world New Year's gathering.
To become a registered member, or to renew your membership, costs 9 €. Every member receives a membership card and a sticker for the current year. Membership is valid for the current calendar year.
The Jakopič Gallery programme for 2018 is dedicated to the presentation of important Slovenian and foreign photography. We are presenting The Chemistry of the Image retrospective exhibition by Tihomir Pinter; Photographer, a retrospective of the Trieste-based photojournalist Mario Magajna; an overview exhibition of the world-renowned photographer Marc Riboud and OVER MY EYES: Stories of Iraq photographic exhibition, which offers an unfamiliar perspective of Iraq.
