Events: Match Gallery - 2023

On Tuesday, 7 February 2023, at 7 p.m., we invite you to the Vžigalica Gallery for the opening of the exhibition Marcel Valentini: Original Forgeries. Join us and discover the work of an intriguing artist who has dedicated his life to creating exquisitely crafted forgeries of works by world-famous painters who worked in a variety of styles and techniques.

We invite you to join us on Monday 22 May 2023 at 9.30 p.m. at the Match Gallery for the opening of the Lighting Guerrilla: Space festival. The gallery will once again host the main festival exhibition, this time until the end of August. We also invite you to pick up the brochure of the 17th Lighting Guerrilla festival and explore the light installations all over Ljubljana until 17 June 2023.

Dominik Mahnič, an academic painter with a M.A. in video and a prominent figure of the street-art movement, incorporates the dialectic between classical painting and avant-garde achievements of new technologies and artificial intelligence into his artistic reflection. On Tuesday, 19 September 2023 at 7 p.m., we invite you to the Match Gallery for the opening of his exhibition Steering the Brush.

You are cordially invited to the opening of the Giovanni Morbin: Hybridizactions, from 1995 to the present exhibition, which will take place on Tuesday, 28 November 2023, at 5 p.m. at the Match Gallery in Ljubljana. Prior to that, Morbin will perform his new hybridizaction Evergreen at the Archaeological Park Emonan House between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.. From there he will go directly to the opening. You are very welcome to the performance and at the gallery!
